Soccer Game Preview: Tumwater vs. WF West

Tumwater has won three straight games at home, while WF West has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Thunderbirds will host the Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. Tumwater has given up an average of 3.5 goals per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tumwater fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Aberdeen on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They lost 20-11 to the Bobcats. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (four), Tumwater still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, WF West had just enough and edged out Black Hills 2-1 on Tuesday. WF West haven't had any issues with Black Hills recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

WF West's win bumped their record up to 6-4-1. As for Tumwater, they moved to 5-6 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
