Softball Recap: West Jones Comes Up Short

West Jones was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the South Jones Braves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Braves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-2 on March 10th.

West Jones' defeat dropped their record down to 1-11-1. As for South Jones, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.

Coming up, West Jones will venture away from home to square off against Hattiesburg at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. West Jones' pitchers better be ready for this one: Hattiesburg has averaged an impressive 8.7 runs per game this season.
