York came tearing into Saturday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed past the Lakeview Vikings to the tune of 59-31. The Dukes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead York to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chloe Koch, who went 7 of 10 on her way to 14 points. Koch is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 45% in the last three games she's played. Lainey Portwine was another key player, putting up eight points along with six rebounds and five assists.

York smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lakeview only pulled down five offensive boards.

Despite the defeat, Lakeview saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kenzie Greisen posted 12 points and six boards.

York pushed their record up to 18-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points over those games. As for Lakeview, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 13 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

Looking ahead, York will square off against Seward at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lakeview, they will challenge Scotus at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
