Basketball Recap: Boiling Springs Extends Road Winning Streak to Four

Boiling Springs posted their closest win since December 5, 2023 on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Gaffney Indians 61-59. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Boiling Springs found their leader in sophomore Tyvion Hall, who to rack up 14 points and six boards. Hall also set a new season-high mark in shooting accuracy with 50%. Reese Walter was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Gaffney lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Zyon Ratchford, who on his way to 17 points. What's more, he also posted a 71% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Londin Bailey, who en route to 13 points.

Boiling Springs pushed their record up to 16-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Gaffney, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.

Boiling Springs has already played their next contest, a 68-60 loss against J.L. Mann on the 17th. Gaffney does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
