Basketball Game Preview: Clinton Arrows vs. Raymond Rangers

The Clinton Arrows will venture away from home to face off against the Raymond Rangers on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Clinton is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Leake Central by a score of 76-68 on Tuesday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Arrows' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 48th, while the Gators are ranked ninth).

Meanwhile, Raymond had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took their matchup on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 62-30 victory over Yazoo County.

Clinton's record now sits at 7-4. As for Raymond, their record now sits at 8-4.

Clinton couldn't quite finish off Raymond in their previous matchup back in November and fell 44-42. Can Clinton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
