St. Vincent de Paul put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Santa Rosa Panthers 63-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Gabe Casanovas had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 276 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 88.9% of his passes, and also punching in one score on the ground. That's the most passing yards he has posted since back in November of 2024. Mason Caturegli got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something St. Vincent de Paul proved: they limited Santa Rosa to a paltry three yards per carry. The team can thank Ethan Glenn for the heroic effort on defense: he. St. Vincent de Paul didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 7.3.

Special teams played a big role in the game for St. Vincent de Paul, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Caturegli, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. St. Vincent de Paul will face off against Analy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 31 points in their last five games. As for Santa Rosa, they will take on Ukiah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
