Baseball Recap: Taft Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Taft's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Highland Scots on Wednesday. The loss leaves the Wildcats still looking for their first win of the season.

Taft saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was William Espinoza, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. That stolen base was Espinoza's first of the season.

Taft's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Highland, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Coming up, Taft will square off against Arvin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Highland, they will face off against Liberty at 4:00 p.m. on March 21st.
