Soccer Recap: Minerva Comes Up Short at Home Against Dover

Minerva unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 11-1 to the Dover Crimson Tornadoes on Friday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Minerva were already down 7-1.

Minerva will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Harrison Central at 6:30 p.m. on the 26th. As for Dover, they will head out on the road to challenge Louisville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
