Basketball Recap: Wekiva Mustangs vs. Bishop Moore Hornets
Wekiva had lost three straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped down to 4-4 to make it four. They were dealt a 67-36 loss at the hands of the Bishop Moore Hornets. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Wekiva's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alexis Hill, who shot 63% from the field on her way to 14 points and eight boards. Hill has also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: she's posted one of at least 50% every time she's hit the court this season. Tiana Washington was another key player, putting up seven points and three steals.

Coincidentally, Wekiva and Bishop Moore will both be playing Apopka the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will head out to face the Blue Darters at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Hornets will host them at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
