Last Tuesday, Mid-Pacific Institute faced Kamehameha Kapalama in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Mid-Pacific Institute took a 47-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kamehameha Kapalama.
Despite the loss, Mid-Pacific Institute got a solid performance out of Logan Mason, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Jacob Bow, who scored six points.
Meanwhile, St. Louis strolled past 'Iolani with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 53-38.
Mid-Pacific Institute bumped their record down to 10-13 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight at home. As for St. Louis, their win bumped their record up to 16-6.
