Softball Recap: Wabaunsee Takes a Loss

Wabaunsee lost against Onaga back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Chargers came up short against the Buffaloes, falling 11-3.

Wabaunsee saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Izzy Wright, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Wabaunsee's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Onaga, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Onaga beat Wabaunsee by a score of 12-5 later that day.
