Brindlee Mountain and Susan Moore are an even 4-4 against one another since March of 2021, but likely not for long. The Brindlee Mountain Lions will challenge the Susan Moore Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Brindlee Mountain has given up an average of 11 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Brindlee Mountain saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came up short against East Limestone, falling 14-1. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Brindlee Mountain saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaylie Mashburn, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Meanwhile, Susan Moore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 28th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-1 to Hanceville.

This is the second loss in a row for Brindlee Mountain and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Susan Moore, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Everything went Brindlee Mountain's way against Susan Moore in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as Brindlee Mountain made off with a 21-10 win. Does Brindlee Mountain have another victory up their sleeve, or will Susan Moore turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
