Concord Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Victory Christian Center Kings with a sharp 62-41 win. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Kings recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Jonas Agyeman went supernova, going 8-for-12 to rack up 19 points along with five boards and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of James Minlend, who shot 60% from the field en route to 13 points and six rebounds.

This is the second loss in a row for Victory Christian Center and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Concord Academy will face off against Combine Academy National at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Victory Christian Center, they will challenge Winston Salem Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
