When it comes to explaining why Judge Memorial Catholic lost, don't look at Kalou Ruot. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 24 points and 15 boards. Another player making a difference was AJ Peek, who shot 45% from the field en route to 15 points and three steals.

Cedar Valley now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Judge Memorial Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
