Basketball Recap: Rocky Mountain Extends Winning Streak to Two

Glenrock came into Saturday's game looking for another win against Rocky Mountain, but Lauren Bassett wouldn't allow it. The Rocky Mountain Grizzlies managed a 44-38 victory over the Glenrock Herders on Saturday thanks in part to Bassett, who almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played.

The win made it two in a row for Rocky Mountain and bumps their season record up to 8-5. As for Glenrock, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

Rocky Mountain will head out on the road to square off against Greybull at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Rocky Mountain is facing Greybull at the right time seeing as Greybull is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Glenrock has already played their next contest (against Buffalo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
