Matthew Whitman put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March of 2024 on Monday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out 14 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. He is becoming a predictor of West Prairie's success: when he allows at most two earned runs the team is 2-1 (and 1-10 when he doesn't).
