Baseball Recap: Woodberry Forest Takes a Loss

Woodberry Forest lost against Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Woodberry Forest lost 12-2 to Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association.

Henry Dixon was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Woodberry Forest's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Coming up, Woodberry Forest will head out to face off against Benedictine at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Benedictine has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association, they will square off against Raleigh HomeSchool at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
