Softball Recap: Milton Takes a Loss

Milton was the 7-3 winner over DeForest when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Hawks fell just short of the Norskies by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday.

Milton's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-8. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only 3.25 runs. As for DeForest, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-10.

Coming up, Milton will head out on the road to square off against Waunakee at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for DeForest, they will take on McFarland at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
