            Volleyball Recap: Douglas Patriots vs. Harrisburg Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            Douglas was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight  defeat. They took  a  2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harrisburg Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the  3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in November of 2024.
 Douglas was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring nine points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-9,  25-9.
 Leading Harrisburg to victory were  Avery Klein and  Kennedy Kokenge.  Klein  had six  digs and two  aces, while  Kokenge  had seven  digs and two  aces. That's the most  aces  Kokenge has posted  over her last 13  matches.  Mckinnley Munce also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first  assist of the season.
Douglas' defeat dropped their record down to 7-25. As for Harrisburg, the  victory was  the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 28-2.
 We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Douglas will  take on  rival Sturgis Brown  at 7:00  p.m.  on November 4. Meanwhile, Harrisburg is set to  face off against  their familiar foe O'Gorman  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
