Blue Ridge Christian's victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-9. As for Whitefield Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.
Things could have been worse for Blue Ridge Christian, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 39-20 loss to the Lions in their previous matchup back in December of 2023.
