Baseball Recap: West Henderson Comes Up Short

West Henderson scored first but ultimately less than Franklin in their match on Tuesday. They fell 7-2 to the Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 last Friday.

West Henderson has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Franklin, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

Looking ahead, West Henderson will venture away from home to challenge Asheville at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Franklin, they will head out on the road to square off against Hayesville at 4:30 p.m. on the 24th.
