Baseball Recap: Manchester Township Wins Going Away Against Pinelands Regional

Manchester Township lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Pinelands Regional, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's game. The Hawks put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 11-3 victory on Thursday. The contest marked the Hawks' most dominant win of the season.

The team relied heavily on Justyce Garcia, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three RBI and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brenden Spaziano, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Manchester Township's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10. As for Pinelands Regional, they dropped their record down to 2-13 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Manchester Township will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wildcats: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
