Volleyball Recap: Basis Independent Silicon Valley Takes a Loss

Basis Independent Silicon Valley was the 3-0 winner over Santa Teresa when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Basis Independent Silicon Valley Bobcats fell just short of the Santa Teresa Saints by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Basis Independent Silicon Valley took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-13, 23-25, 22-25, 25-12, 15-5.

Basis Independent Silicon Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Santa Teresa, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Basis Independent Silicon Valley will challenge Leigh at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Leigh will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Basis Independent Silicon Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Santa Teresa, they will face off against Scotts Valley at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
