Destiny Christian put another one in the bag  on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Life Prep Fire get on the board and left with  an   18-0  win. Considering the Wildcats have won eight matchups by more than seven  runs this season, Saturday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Zoey Landers made a splash no matter where she played. She  struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances. She also  launched a  home run, marking her first of the season.
 In other batting news,  Cienna Davis was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances. She has been hot, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last six times she's  played.  Lily McCutchan was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 Destiny Christian  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .840. The last time their  OBP was this high was  back in March of 2024.
Destiny Christian's victory was  their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 13-0. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for Life Prep,  they are  on  a  nine-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
 Coming up, Destiny Christian will host Sunrise Christian Academy  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Life Prep, they will get a bit of extra time to process the  defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Emporia at 1:30  p.m.  on May 10.
