Volleyball Recap: Andover Golden Warriors vs. Dracut Middies

Andover entered their tilt with Dracut on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They beat the Dracut Middies by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Golden Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.

Andover's not only won, but also showed off some consistency: keeping Dracut between 14 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-14, 25-16.

Kate Hillson had an outrageously good game as she had 11 aces and nine digs. Those 11 aces gave her a new career-high.

She wasn't the only good server: Andover was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 21 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Andover pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Dracut, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Andover will venture away from home to challenge Haverhill at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dracut, they will head out to take on Tewksbury Memorial at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
