Football Game Preview: McIntosh Demons vs. Brantley Bulldogs + Official Tickets

The McIntosh Demons will face off against the Brantley Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in McIntosh's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.

Two weeks ago, McIntosh humbled Fruitdale with a 52-8 victory. The win continues a trend for the Demons in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won four in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead McIntosh to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayden Brown, who rushed for 146 yards and one score on only seven carries. Brown has become a key player for the Demons: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise. Another pass catcher making a difference was Joshua Harris, who picked up 101 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

McIntosh didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kyle Reed and Kyler Dixon. McIntosh received some extra help from Alfred Weaver, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three games, Brantley finally came back down to earth on Friday. They had to suffer through a 56-7 loss at the hands of Ariton. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-7.

McIntosh's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Brantley, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
