Lincoln Prep came out on top against San Carlos on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive 13-run first inning. The Lightning were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over the Braves. Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Madison Highland Prep's offense. They lost 19-0 to Phoenix Christian on Tuesday. The Heat just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Lincoln Prep now has a winning record of 9-8-1. As for Madison Highland Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.

Wednesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Lincoln Prep has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .440. However, it's not like Madison Highland Prep struggles in that department as they've averaged .447.
