Hendersonville has gone a perfect 3-0 against Shelbyville Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Commandos will challenge the Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Shelbyville Central took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Hendersonville, who comes in off a win.

While Hendersonville's victory against Station Camp wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Commandos slipped by the Bison 37-36 on Friday. The Commandos haven't had any issues with the Bison recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Shelbyville Central was beaten by Ravenwood 45-14 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Golden Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 107th, while the Raptors are ranked sixth).

Although Shelbyville Central took the loss, they still got scores from Robert Bailey and Stephen Bobo.

Hendersonville now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Shelbyville Central, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-5.

Hendersonville didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Shelbyville Central when the teams last played back in October of 2022, but they still walked away with a 40-34 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Commandos since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
