Tuscarawas Valley put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Garaway Pirates. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-1 on Monday.

The team relied heavily on Elliott Wallick, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Hallee Borell was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

Tuscarawas Valley pushed their record up to 14-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Garaway, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Tuscarawas Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Ridgewood at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Garaway, they are taking a road trip to challenge Conotton Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
