Laguna Beach never let their opponents score on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Northwood Timberwolves as they made off with a 7-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Breakers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Laguna Beach got a great performance from Branson Wade as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. Wade has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in nine consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Lincoln Adams, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Becker Sybirski was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Laguna Beach's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Northwood, they moved to 8-13-1 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Laguna Beach will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Timberwolves: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
