Kodiak came out on top against Grace Christian on Saturday thanks in part to Gavin Peterson's efforts. Peterson scored three runs while going 3-for-4, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Coming up, Peterson and Kodiak will be playing at home against Soldotna at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since May of 2019, but a win here would be a good start.
