Basketball Game Preview: Calvary Christian Knights vs. Ware County Gators

The Calvary Christian Knights will take on the Ware County Gators at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Calvary Christian sitting on four straight wins and Ware County on six.

Last Thursday, Calvary Christian took their matchup with ease, bagging an 83-47 victory over Chambers Academy. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 21 points or more this season.

Calvary Christian's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Dylan Hosten, who posted 17 points, and Tyler Freeman, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Stokes, who put up 11 points.

Meanwhile, Ware County hadn't done well against Warner Robins recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Ware County walked away with a 60-49 win over Warner Robins.

Ware County's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points per game. As for Calvary Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season.
