Nebraska City was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-23, 25-17.

Nebraska City's loss dropped their record down to 4-24. As for Beatrice, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-19.

Everything went Beatrice's way against Nebraska City in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Beatrice made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Orangemen since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
