Softball Recap: Bishop McLaughlin Catholic Comes Up Short

Bishop McLaughlin Catholic scored the most runs they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 21-11 to the All Saints' Academy Saints. The Hurricanes were not able to make up for their loss to the Saints from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Bishop McLaughlin Catholic got a massive performance out of Catherine Bell, who scored three runs and stole Four bases. while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. The dominant performance gave Bell a new career-high in stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Sophie Sanchez, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Even though they lost, Bishop McLaughlin Catholic always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
