Two dominant guards in Chett Vaughan and Jequan Brown are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Cumby Trojans will face off against the Cooper Bulldogs at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Both are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Cumby will bounce into Friday's game after beating Boles, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Cumby simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Boles 80-53. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Trojans have posted since December 14, 2024.

Cooper's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34 points. As for Cumby, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-11.
