Baseball Recap: Columbia River Comes Up Short

Columbia River was the 9-3 winner over Ridgefield when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Rapids fell just short of the Spudders by a score of 8-7 on Wednesday. The Rapids have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Columbia River's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Ridgefield, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Columbia River nor Ridgefield have any future games scheduled.
