            Basketball Recap: Neosho Wildcats vs. Ozark Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            Neosho was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They came up short against  the Ozark Tigers, falling  77-53. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings  (they are ranked 208th, while the Tigers are ranked 66th).

 Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Oliver Martin, who  went 5 for 9  en route to 13  points. The dominant performance also gave  Martin a new career-high in  blocks (two).  Zach Forsythe was another key player,  going 8 of 14  on his way to 16 points.
Neosho's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Ozark,  the  win  got them back to even at 7-7.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Neosho will venture away from home to  challenge Joplin  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Neosho is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.3  points per game  this season. As for Ozark, they will head out on the road to  take on  Kickapoo  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in Kickapoo's favor is that they have posted at least 55  points  in their last seven matches.
