Keller Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by the V.R. Eaton Eagles 66-37. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 817th, while the Eagles are ranked 258th).

Keller Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-20. As for V.R. Eaton, their win bumped their record up to 16-11.

Keller Central has already played their next game (against Northwest), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. V.R. Eaton will take on Southlake Carroll at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Southlake Carroll's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
