They snuck past Clarksville Christian with a 63-57 win. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
When it comes to explaining why Clarksville Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Lauren Hassell. Despite the final result, she scored 34 points along with 9 rebounds. The matchup was Hassell's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Marley Spiers, who scored 6 points along with 13 rebounds.
Lutheran's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Clarksville Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.
