Softball Recap: Parker Thundering Herd vs. Homewood Patriots
Parker and Homewood squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Parker had to settle for second. They lost 20-2 to the Homewood Patriots. Parker has struggled against Homewood recently, as their game on Monday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Parker saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leah Ray, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1.
Parker's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-7. As for Homewood, the win got them back to even at 16-16-1.
As of now, neither Parker nor Homewood have any future games scheduled.
