Baseball Game Preview: Colony Titans vs. Palmdale Falcons

The Colony Titans will be taking part in a tournament against the Palmdale Falcons at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Palmdale took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Colony, who comes in off a win.

Colony is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Monday. Everything went their way against Serrano as Colony made off with a 15-2 win.

Steven Gonzales looked comfortable as he struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk).

On the hitting side, Colony let Brody Litwin and Ricardo Zazueta loose on the outfield. Litwin got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run, while Zazueta scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of James Cook, who scored two runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Palmdale kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against Adelanto, falling 12-2. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.
