Bellport is a perfect 5-0 against Copiague since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Clippers will venture away from home to face off against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Bellport's defense has only allowed 13.2 points per game this season, so Copiague's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Bellport is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Half Hollow Hills East just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 23-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the RedHawks. Having soared to a lofty 40 points in the game before, the Clippers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Copiague came up short against Commack on Saturday and fell 36-29.

Bellport suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 3-2. As for Copiague, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Bellport was able to grind out a solid win over Copiague in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 31-21. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Clippers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
