Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Rock Bridge

Rock Bridge won against Western last Thursday with nine runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Bruins blew past the Smith-Cotton Tigers 9-2. Considering the Bruins have won three games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the third in a row for Rock Bridge, bringing their record up to 6-2. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Smith-Cotton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Rock Bridge will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
