Football Recap: Cedar Springs Triumphs + How To Watch

The Cedar Springs Red Hawks earned a 30-20 victory over the Harper Creek Beavers on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Hawks.

Defeat or not, Harper Creek got some senior leadership from Dylan Eversole and Teegan Turnbull. Eversole gained 76 total yards, while Turnbull threw for 129 yards and one touchdown while completing 75% of his passes.

Cedar Springs has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Harper Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Cedar Springs and Harper Creek should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Red Hawks (ranked 94th) will meet Greenville (ranked 234th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Harper Creek will square off against Coldwater at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (171 vs. 354).
