Detroit Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 36-34 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chandler Park Academy Eagles. One positive for the Hurricanes, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Detroit Community's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Chandler Park Academy, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4.

Detroit Community will look to defend their home court on Monday against University Prep at 5:30 p.m. Detroit Community has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 0-3 during that stretch of close contests. As for Chandler Park Academy, they will head out to take on Academy for Business & Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
