Volleyball Recap: Hoover Comes Up Short

Hoover's tournament run continued when they took on High Tech CV on Saturday. The Cardinals fell just short of the Bruins by a score of 2-1.

Among those leading the charge was Bryson Diestro, who had 21 assists and two aces. That's the most assists he has posted since back in March.

Hoover has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for High Tech CV, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-12.

Hoover wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Mar Vista on the 19th. As for High Tech CV, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against La Jolla Country Day on the 19th.
