Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for North Point

North Point entered their tilt with McDonough on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Rams 9-1. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Rams last Tuesday, they had to take a 10-9 loss.

North Point's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for McDonough, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. North Point is set to face off against their familiar foe Huntingtown at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 2.8, the Hurricanes 1.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, McDonough will take on rival Lackey on Friday.
