Basketball Game Preview: Newburg Wolves vs. Bourbon War Hawks

Newburg is on a three-game streak of home losses, Bourbon a six-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Wednesday. The Newburg Wolves will welcome the Bourbon War Hawks at 5:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Tuesday, Newburg was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 52-48 to Laquey.

Meanwhile, Bourbon took a blow against Chamois on Monday, falling 59-22.

Newburg's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Bourbon, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.

Newburg took their victory against Bourbon in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 70-45. Does Newburg have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bourbon turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
