Wayne is a perfect 3-0 against Rochester Prep since December of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Wayne Eagles just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Rochester Prep Tigers at 3:00 p.m.

Wayne is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 60 points on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Palmyra-Macedon on Friday. They were beaten by the Red Raiders 59-23. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 639th, while the Red Raiders are ranked 138th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rochester Prep). They managed a 54-48 win over Lima Christian on Thursday.

Wayne's defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Rochester Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 6-11.

Everything came up roses for Wayne against Rochester Prep when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 58-25 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wayne since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
