The Hollins Royals took a blow against the Gibbs Gladiators on Monday, falling 56-12. The Royals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-4.

Destini Solomon was Hollins' leading scorer, having posted ten points.

Hollins has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season. As for Gibbs, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-12 record this season.

Hollins didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 55-37 win against Pinellas Park on the 28th. Gibbs has also already played their next contest, a 45-25 loss against Calvary Christian on the 31st.
